Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1989 as a personal computer manufacturer by David Kim, a Portland State University student and ex-engineer,
Computer Technology Link (CTL) currently manufactures and markets CTL PCs, CTL Monitors, CTL Laptops, CTL Servers and Nexus TVs.
In 1993,CTL expanded beyond Oregon to open an office in Seoul, Korea. Today, CTL is headquartered in Portland, where it manufactures,
distributes and repairs products. It also maintains offices in Seoul and Seattle.
Since its inception, CTL has provided resellers, government and educational institutions with a local resource for all of their computer needs.
In 2004, the Nexus brand of televisions was added to the CTL line of products. Nexus televisions now can be found in various
Northwest retailers, as well as through www.nexuselectronics.com.
CTL is committed to expanding International and domestic operations by continually evolving to meet the needs of an ever-changing market.

CTL is organized into business units that maintain focus on the following product categories:
- Display Products :: including the CTL brand of CRT, TFT, Plasma and Touch Enabled Monitors
- Computer Systems :: spanning the market from the Value segment to High-End Engineering Multi-Processor Work Stations
- Components & Peripherals :: distributed by CTL into the Channel
- Mobile Computing :: including the CTL brand of Notebook Computers, PDA's and Tablet Computers
- Servers & Services :: ranging from sales of stand alone CTL Workgroup Servers to the design, production and integration of Enterprise Class systems
- Emerging Products :: such as Kiosks and
Biometric Security products
CTL has been chosen as a CMP Channel Advocate for our focus on selling products at wholesale prices to Authorized CTL Accounts.
Markets served by CTL include: System Builders and Integrators, VAR's, Retail, Education, Government and Non-Profit organizations.
CTL is a Microsoft Direct OEM, a Gold Member of Microsoft's System Building Program, an Intel Mobile Channel Leader and an Intel
Premier Provider. These and other industry relationships
& partnerships have resulted in a level of sustained growth such that CTL has been repeatedly recognized by the accounting firm
of Deloitte and Touche as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the Western United States.
CTL maintains offices throughout Northwest America and has manufacturing facilities in South Korea and Penang, Malaysia.
