NEXUS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR LCD AND PLASMA TVs

The Nexus limited warranty only covers Nexus products purchased from authorized Nexus Dealers and Distributors . The Nexus warranty is non transferable and only protects the original consumer owner of the Nexus product. Nexus Electronics warrants this product and all parts thereof, except as noted below only to the original retail purchaser to be free from defect in parts and workmanship from the date of the original purchase for the time frame shown below.

• PARTS – ONE YEAR
• LABOR – ONE YEAR

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY IN THE UNITED STATES AND
CANADA.

If this product is found to be defective within the warranty period, Nexus at it’s discretion will either repair or replace defective parts with new or remanufactured parts at no charge to the original owner or will replace the product with a new or refurbished product that has similar specifications.

These repairs will take place at an authorized Nexus service center or by authorized Nexus service center personnel onsite and are warranted only for the remainder of the original Warranty period.

If an in-warranty set cannot be repaired at the service center, or if the set has a panel problem, the set must be shipped in to Nexus headquarters for repair. In that case, the customer is responsible for paying one-way shipping to Nexus headquarters and Nexus will pay for shipping back to the customer.

All products must be brought to an authorized Nexus service center on a carry in basis. Screen sizes 37” and larger purchased after Nov. 1, 2007 qualify for in home service. In home service may not be available in all parts of the country and is limited to within 25 miles of the service center location. The unit must be at floor level as in home service does not cover removing the unit from a wall mount, cabinet etc.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

• Products which have been subject to abuse, accident, alteration, modification, tampering, negligence, faulty installation, misuse, lack of reasonable care, damage caused by other system components, and failure due to power surges. Batteries are not covered.
• Damage that occurs in shipping or transit, cosmetic damage and any acts of nature or other causes beyond our control.
• Repair or replacement of warranted parts by other than an authorized Nexus service center.
• Product where the original factory serial numbers have been removed defaced or changed in any way.

The cost of repair or replacement under these circumstances shall be borne by the consumer.

To obtain service on your Nexus product please call Nexus Tech Support at 800-645-8670 between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time Monday thru Friday.

To qualify for warranty service, you must provide:

• your original dated sales receipt as your proof of purchase
• the original television box and packing materials in the event that warranty service requires the product to be shipped or transported.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.TO THE EXTENT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS REQUIRED BY LAW, IT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD ABOVE. NEXUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS OR ANY OTHER DAMAGE WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights which vary from state to state.

NEXUS PIXEL POLICY
LCD displays contain hundreds of thousands of pixels or picture elements. Typically a small number of these pixels may not function normally. Your display has been inspected and conforms to ISO regulations for pixel performance indicating that any pixel defects do not affect the operation or use of your display.
